Why does it have a gold tube you'd ask? This is because the halogen tube inside the heating bar has a layer of gold on the heating element, which increases the heat making it more intense and stronger. 
The wind will have little effect on the heat it gives so its great for sheltered as well as unsheltered areas such as patios, open conservatory areas and gazebos.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Design

The design is so compact that the Gold heater comes with an IP55 rating. The heater is LOT20 compliant and approx 1.5M - 1.7M. No assembly is required and comes ready with a UK plug with the mounting kit and the brackets are provided. It has an angle is adjustable and the remote control is easy to use and comes with instructions. One of the biggest advantages of using aluminium is that its resilient against dramatic temperatures which also makes it corrosion resistant. The rocker switch is waterproof to keep you and other people safe.

The Features

This heater has an IP rating of IP65 which meaning that there will be no ingress of dust and has protection against low pressure water jets. It's perfect for indoor areas like conservatories as well as outdoor areas, such as patios or café terraces, basically anywhere outside that is also sheltered. There are also 3 power settings to this heater for you to choose from and a rocker switch which means that it cannot be accidently activated.

Easy installation
Like all our other products, it's extremely simple to install. All of our heaters come with easy to follow installation manuals. To make the most of the heater, we recommend that you install it up high on the wall, at least 1.8M from the ground. We also suggest having a minimum space of 500MM between the heater and the ceiling. For your own safety; have any other objects (such as curtains etc...) 500MM away too.
